However, decision-makers must also answer the important question of what TCO the company will incur if the switch to e-trucks is to be realized. They also need to examine the extent to which an e-fleet can be recharged at the depot under the given conditions. In addition, the necessary energy supply and storage as well as operational management models are developed and implemented together with project partners or customers.<\/p>\n Fraunhofer IFAM contributes important content to the TCO Alliance: extensive TCO analyses for commercial vehicle fleets can be carried out using scientifically sound simulation models.
